2020
Veniam moves to remote and the Intelligent Networking SaaS in the U.S. with nationwide coverage.
2019
Completes Integration Project with 2 major US auto OEMs.
Completes field test campaign in Germany to prove value of Wi-Fi Offload Solution.
Bosch and Veniam selected as CES 2019
Innovation Award Honorees.
Veniam selected by Vodafone as one of the top 100 startups pioneering 5G.
2018
Starts integration projects with Robert Bosch GmbH & DENSO.
Completes POCs and kicks off integration programs with auto OEMs.
Kicks off projects with autonomous vehicle companies.

Deploys vehicle mesh network in Ann Arbor Michigan.

$25M Series B funding by Verizon (lead), Cisco, Orange, Yamaha, Liberty

Deploys vehicle mesh networks in Singapore and New York.
Wins TU automotive award for Best Auto Mobility Product/Service.
2015
Opens Silicon Valley Office.
Launches data networking platform to move massive amounts of data between vehicles and the cloud.
Cablelabs award for best new product (telecom industry).
2014
$4.9M series A funding by True Ventures (lead), USV and Cane.
Builds the largest mesh network of connected vehicles in the world (400+ buses, taxis and garbage trucks).
2013
$500k seed grant by five angel investors, MIT BGI.
Deploys the world’s first commercial vehicular mesh in Porto’s container terminal.
2012
Veniam is founded by João Barros, Robin Chase (Zipcar CEO), Roy Russell (Zipcar CTO) and Susana Sargento (2016 EU Woman Innovator).
